Burnout Screening Tool
The Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) looks at three different areas in your work life and the burnout level you may be experiencing in these areas. Occupational Exhaustion, Depersonalisation (lack of empathy) and Personal Accomplishment are measured in this questionnaire. Burnout is when prolonged exposure to work stressors, both interpersonal and emotional, results in a loss of motivation and emotional depletion. Dr Jerrie uses this screening tool to support his treatment plan and patient assessment.
Be as truthful as possible when answering this questionnaire. This is a one-sided, patient-based questionnaire and is not a diagnostic tool. A clinician needs to interpret your results for them to be acted upon in therapy.
The questionnaire should take about 10 minutes to complete.
